Runner up for Best Individual Contribution to Open Justice – Open University Law School August 2018
Way back in 2018 – it only seems like yesterday – I became the co-founder of Cawley and Davis with the completely understated aim of changing the way law is practised….
Fast forward 12 months and our more realistic target of supporting the small businesses of Staffordshire towards greater success, has proven far easier to achieve. Supported by 30 years-experience gained in the industrial, transportation and commercial business sectors, our clients have been able to reap the benefit of our considerable knowledge, experience and intense personal investment, as well as a ready sense of humour.
As we jump into 2020 – when I’m not jumping between the posts of the local walking football session – I look forward to providing new and existing clients with the legal support they need to help them exceed their goals!!!
2019 I graduated from the Open University with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), prior to this I was a Police Constable for 8 years for Staffordshire Police.
I specialise in providing legal advice in areas of law such as Family, Small Business, Employment, Contractual, Consumer Rights plus much more.
I have always been passionate about the law and helping those in need of legal advice. I believe that legal advice and representation should be available to everyone regardless of their personal circumstances, therefore making legal advice affordable and easily accessible. Pro Bono work for charitable organisations is very important to me, it is my way of ‘giving back’ to the community, and if it’s appropriate giving up some of my time to assist such charities.
In 2019 I started to provide pro bono legal advice to the Gingerbread Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, this then developed into me being fortunate enough to be appointed as a Trustee for the charity. They are an amazing organisation offering support and accommodation for homeless families. It is a role that I am hugely privileged to undertake.
